My son had to take me an hour away to get the stitches taken out of my mouth from my tooth extraction. It was really hot today and nice to take a ride. My dentist appointment was very fast. After wards we had errands to do. I got heat stroke just walking into a Wal-Mart. I had to sit, rest, drink fluids and get a cold towel. This cancer seems to be kicking my butt and it is difficult to be in the heat. I wish we had an air-conditioner, as I bet this summer will be very hot. It was still nice to get out of the house today.
We got lunch out this afternoon and I ate what I could. I still do not have much of an appetite. It is healthy for me to get out in public as it make me feel more alive. My children want me to see the fireworks tomorrow night, so I am going to rest up tonight. Our town has a parade, but I can’t handle the sun so I will skip that. We are going to do a traditional hot dog BBQ so I will do my best to have some fun. I want to be well. “My cancer will go away, my cancer will go away, my cancer will go away”.
I got a message from my Oncologists nurse, but instead of telling me if the results are back, they just said to call back. Since it is a Holiday tomorrow, I won’t be able to find out any results. Therefore, I am going to enjoy the day. May everyone have a Happy 4th of July!
